Anastrozol 1mg NEW
Anastrozol is a flavoring inhibitor, not an anti-estrogen, as many believe. The difference is that Arimidex does not allow estrogen to form in the body, whereas antiestrogens inhibit the action of estrogen, but it does not prevent its occurrence.
Active substance: anastrozole
Trade names: Arimidex, Anastrozole, Liquidex
Anastrozole is a very powerful anti-estrogen that officially belongs to a class of drugs called aromatizing inhibitors. It was introduced on the market in 1995 under the name of Arimidex. Gradually it became one of the most popular anti-estrogens, along with Nolvadex (tamoxifen). It is used in medicine for the treatment of breast cancer, being more effective in this regard than tamoxifen.
Bodybuilders and athletes who use anabolic and androgenic steroids make great use of Arimidex to prevent estrogenic side effects. In the past, Proviron was used for similar effects, but it is much weaker and may have androgenic side effects.
Anastrozole works by blocking the enzyme responsible for the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, the enzyme called aromatase. When we say that a steroid is flavored, more precisely it is altered by this enzyme, which leads to the accumulation of estrogens in the body with side effects such as water retention, fattening and most serious gynecomastia. Anastrozole is very effective in reducing estrogen, and can go up to an 80% reduction. This reduction is useful to those who use anabolic steroids and especially to breast cancer patients.
Arimidex can also stimulate the secretion of luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone, two hormones that signal the release of testosterone from the testes. That is why some doctors use Arimidex in men with low testosterone, but this is generally not a good solution. In such cases it is best associated with injectable testosterone at therapeutic doses.
Medical is useful to breast cancer patients because many such tumors feed on estrogen. It is a gross simplification, but practically Arimidex starves the tumors to death. Nolvadex has long been used for this. But it acts in a different way: it attaches to estrogen receptors by preventing estrogen from binding to them. Estrogen is still present in the blood but it cannot exert its action. In the case of Arimidex, estrogen production is inhibited and there is less hormone in the circulation. Arimidex is currently the most commonly used drug for the treatment of breast cancer especially in menopausal women. After the cancer has disappeared, switch to tamoxifen to prevent a relapse.
Arimidex is used by some during post-cycle therapy. But it is not the best idea. During this time you want your body to resume normal testosterone production, so you need normal estrogen levels. As a flavoring inhibitor such as Arimidex reduces them too much, it should only be used during the steroid cycle; Nolvadex should be used in PCT.
Side effects Arimidex
Arimidex, like any medicine, also has side effects. Usually, they depend on the sensitivity of each one. For those who use Arimidex without anabolic steroids, the most common side effects are fatigue and weakness. For steroid users, using lower doses of Arimidex, these side effects do not occur. Exceptions are periods of muscle definition and severe caloric restriction coupled with intense workouts.
Other possible side effects when using Arimidex are:
High blood pressure.
Nausea and / or vomiting (rare).
Some studies have shown that it can decrease the mineral content of bones, increasing the risk of osteoporosis. It is not a problem for steroid users, who use lower doses and some steroids have the ability to promote mineral uptake into bones.
Aside from the aforementioned side effects, most adults can use Arimidex without any side effects. However, each responds differently so it is well known that these symptoms are possible in some cases.
In the treatment of breast cancer the typical dose is 1 mg / day until the cancer recedes. The treatment can be extended after this period and is usually replaced with Nolvadex.
For steroid users the doses of Arimidex range from 0.25 mg to 1 mg, most often one day no. Dosages of 1 mg twice daily are rarely used. Some say that 0.25 mg every two days would be enough, but for someone who is following a serious steroid cycle, it would be good for the minimum dose to be 0.5 mg. As an example, for someone who uses 500 mg / week of long-acting testosterone (enanthate, cypionate, Sustanon, etc.), a good dose is 0.5 mg once every two days. It is best associated with steroids that contain: testosterone, nadrolone, metandrostenolone, boldenone and all their derivatives. Oximetolone is also flavored indirectly, which is why it is recommended to use Nolvadex.
At such doses Arimidex will prevent gynecomastia and water retention without problems.
Professional bodybuilders use high doses of 1 mg / day 10-14 days before competitions to strengthen the muscles and to give relief to the muscles.
A good idea is to have blood tests every 1-2 weeks to check estrogen levels and the dose should be adjusted so that these levels remain normal. Too much estrogen can cause problems, but also too little (especially lethargy, lack of libido and erectile problems). Even with testosterone cycles, such problems can occur if your Arimidex doses are too high and your estrogen is too low.
In the past Arimidex was very expensive. And today it is more expensive than tamoxifen, but prices have dropped. It is found on the black market of steroids, but also in pharmacies. From pharmacies it is issued on prescription and costs between 60 and 140 lei, depending on the manufacturer (Arimidex brand costs the most, but there are cheaper variants with other names but which contain the same dose of anastrozole).
