IGF-1 Long R3, as it can be inferred from the name, is a synthetic injectable form of insulin-like growth factor 1, used by bodybuilders and spotlights to increase muscle mass.

Insulin-like growth factor 1, from which IGF-1 Long R3 is derived, is a peptide hormone that is naturally found in the body. It belongs to the same family of hormones as insulin. In terms of peptide hormones, IGF-1 is relatively small, having a chain of 70 amino acids. But this has no relevance in its biological importance. IGF-1 is the anabolic mediator of human growth hormone (HGH), which by itself has no anabolic effect. The ability of HGH to stimulate IGF-1 secretion makes it such an potent anabolic agent. The hormone IGF-1 was discovered in 1957. It was initially thought to aid cartilage regeneration. It was not until the late 1970s that the name IGF-1 was adopted and its effects began to be studied.
IGF-1 promotes development in almost all tissues. Not only the muscles but also the internal organs, brain and eyes. Because muscles are made to respond to external stimuli by increasing and increasing strength, they are more receptive to IGF-1 than the rest of the organs. Although IGF-1 promotes anabolism throughout the body, it cannot be said that it is dangerous to be used to increase muscle mass (but the danger of increasing internal organs cannot be ignored).
IGF-1 assists in better muscle cell activity and a better concentration of protein in muscles. IGF-1 Long R3 is currently produced by Australian company GroPep, which holds the patent for this unique form of IGF-1. It is still in the experimental medicine phase, but it could still be purchased by bodybuilders, through international distributors who sell to universities for experiments. It costs between 170 and 400 dollars per milliliter, having a purity of 85%.
They are found in powder form or diluted in an alcohol solvent. If it is like powder, it should be mixed with alcohol solvent for storage and diluted with distilled water or bacteriostatic water before administration. The injection is done with sergeants used in the injection of insulin. It is recommended to be kept refrigerated.

IGF-1 Long R3 is also called IGtropin, produced by the Chinese company GenSci. It is supposed to be the same compound as the one produced by GroPed, but it is not known whether they obtained the raw material through an agreement with it. The results obtained with the administration of IGF-1 Long R3 are better pumping, increased appetite, gain of smooth muscular mass and strength and stimulation of thermogenesis (fat loss). A 30-day cycle earns an average of 2-3 kilograms of muscular mass. Some bodybuilders have claimed that they also gained 6-8 kg using only IGF-1 Long R3 in 4-week cycles. However, given alone, it is not as effective as steroids, but it is powerful enough for a non-steroidal anabolic substance. Also keeping the muscle mass gained after the cycle ends is very high, which cannot be said when it comes to steroids. This is due to several factors, including the lack of hormonal crash.
When it comes to definition, IGF-1 Long R3 is not as effective as human growth hormone. But that does not mean that IGF-1 has no value in this regard. That is why it was introduced relatively quickly on the black market. Although not abundant, it is not impossible to obtain. Those who have used it refer to it as "super HGH", which is not far from the truth. With the administration of IGF-1 Long R3, we can enjoy the effects of this hormone, without relying on the body's ability to produce it when stimulated by HGH. An analogy can be made between the use of HCG to stimulate testosterone secretion and the direct administration of testosterone such as cytopioned testosterone, for example.
