Details
Indications:Oxymetholone.
Treatment of anemias caused by deficient RBC production. Acquired aplastic anemia, congenital aplastic anemia, myelofibrosis, and the hypoplastic anemias caused by administration of myelotoxic drugs often respond.
Contra - indications:Oxymetholone Pills.
Hypersensitivity to the drug, prostate cancer, male breast cancer, breast carcinoma in women with hypercalcemia, coronary heart disease, severe atherosclerosis, nephrotic syndrome, acute and chronic liver disease, including alcoholic nephritis, pregnancy, lactation.
Administration:Anapolon Tablets.
The optimal dose of Oxymetholone administrated in males is 100 milligrams per day and ladies will expect good results having only 3-10 milligrams per day. Usually, females are more sensitive to this drugs, in this cases, lower doses need to be utilized. Nearly all women will discover 10mg daily being almost perfect.
Medical action:
Oxymetholone is an anabolic steroid. Getting into the cell nucleus, it activates the genetic apparatus of the cell, providing an increased synthesis of DNA, RNA and structural proteins, active enzymes of tissue respiration chain and enhancing tissue respiration, oxidative phosphorylation, ATP synthesis and intracellular macroergic aggregation. Precautions:
In the case of small signs of virilization at patients (deepening of the voice, hirsutism, acne, clitoromegaly) the intake should be stopped to avoid unavoidable changes. Needs to be done a systematic control of lipidemia and cholesterol. Pediatric use should be made by an experienced specialist to avoid premature epiphyseal bone calcification.
Side effects:Oxymetholone.
Women can meet symptoms of virilization, acne, menstrual disorders.
In men in the prepubertal period can happen virilization symptoms, acne, withholding or the growth stopping (calcification of epiphyseal growth zones and tubular bones); during the postpuberty period, it may happen gynecomastia, priapism, inhibition of spermatogenesis.
Both in men and women, there may be the progression of atherosclerosis, peripheral edema, damaged liver function, changes in blood count, pain in bones sockets.
Overdosage:
Overdose situations are not met.
