About Steroids
Steroids
Often misunderstood or misunderstood - there are different types of steroids. Corticosteroids, which have more serious side effects than Anabolic Steroids, are not demonized by the media for certain reasons, and their use is actually ACCEPTABLE in most cases, including professional and collegiate sports. They are often used to fight inflammation. There is also Progesterone, which is used in most forms of birth control and taken by millions of women every day. Anabolic steroids (hereinafter referred to as AS or AS) are what most people think of when they first hear "steroids" and all the bad things associated with them.
Side effects..
Everyone experiences different parts. There are not two people at the same time. To say that ALL people would experience the same thing is ridiculous. Some people have a hard time understanding this as seen in the Lambesis thread. There is only one side effect that all men * users are guaranteed - and this is testicular atrophy.
A) Testicular atrophy - when you supplement large amounts of testosterone your body's HPTA starts to shut down (it no longer produces testosterone, because your body becomes much more than sufficient); In short, this causes your balls to shrink. Most of the time it is not even noticed. Can reduce 25%, maximum 50%. Once you leave the cycle, run your computer (post-cycle therapy) and they will return to full size. It is not permanent. Some people administer HCG (Human-chorionic-gonadatropin) during the cycle to keep their balls large and also help in recovery as they keep your leydig cells functional.
Common misconceptions in the world of anabolic steroids.
B) Hair loss / hair loss: AS does not cause baldness or hair loss. However, it can speed up the process. If hair loss occurs in your family, be surprised that you will be the most likely candidate for accelerating this process. Bill Roberts has written about two different types of steroids: type I and type II; Type I being major compounds such as Testosterone, Train, Deca, Scare and Type II being similar Winstrol (stanazolol), dbol, anavar, Masteron etc. Most people blame drugs such as Winstrol and Masteron Enanthate (Drostanolone) as the culprit for hair loss and trying to avoid these drugs when you are worried about MPB, when it is not actually type I, has a much greater effect. pronounced on MPB (male model baldness) than any other type of medicine. And, obviously, DHT-based drugs (as they are) will be tougher on the scalp. The only way to combat this is by taking Finasteride (propecia / proscar) some topical rogaine shampoos and a few other things.
C) Acne - some people burst on their face; some people break out on the chest or back ... and some people's skin clears. Again, everyone is affected differently.
D) I feel like this should have been covered under testicular atrophy and I just forgot. I often hear people talking about the AS that makes your dick shrink when they actually mean your balls. So, to clarify, your dick doesn't shrink and that makes as much sense as to say that administering a nasal spray shrinks your nose. If anything, with more blood flowing in that area, I'd say you'll be more prone to the opposite events. Again, it depends on the compounds you take - some medicines like Deca and Tren can be very harsh on your libido (hence the phrase "deca-pula"), and some have chosen to take Tadalafil (Cialis) (171596-29 -5) or viagra (you shouldn't), but other medications, like the above test (any kind) or dbol will make you climb the walls and just excited as ..... Most girls who have a husband or boyfriend on the cycle seems to be glad that their guy is on the cycle, lol.
E) "Roid-anger" - There is no such thing. It's just as simple. If you are an unstable person, yes, they will make you much more unstable. But then again, a lot of other things and medications will probably cause that too. If you are mentally unstable or even diagnosed with a mental disorder, you should never consider taking steroids. I would like to say the same thing about alcohol. The vast majority of people are not affected by this. Most people feel as though they have a better or no different disposition. I can see that people are getting louder because they are a little bigger and a little stronger, but other than that, everything about 'roid-anger' (government institution or not) is appropriate.
F) Death / failure of organs etc.
Steroids do not cause people to die or lead to their death due to adverse reactions. There have been no scientific studies showing direct links with anabolic steroids and death. People will go to Zyzz, but they will not tell his family history of heart disease / illness and do not think an autopsy has ever been made public? To cite the 2005 CDC statistics from Bigger Stronger Faster:
Common misconceptions in the world of anabolic steroids
75,000 people die a year from alcohol
435,000 people die a year because of tobacco
and deaths caused by anabolic steroids ..... 3
The dangers of steroids are extremely exaggerated. Very comparable to the situation with Pitbulls. More people die from being hit on the head of the coconut or just falling down the stairs.
Yes, if the steroids are made the wrong way, it can be dangerous. Oral steroids (such as dbol, winstrol, anavar, etc.) are hepatoxic and can be very harsh in the liver if taken in too high doses and for too long ... and if you consume alcohol in the cycle. This is why it is advisable to make blood panels before, during and after the cycle. Taking things like milk card can help ease the burden on the liver.
Your blood pressure may and probably will increase again, depending on the compounds you take (especially Methandrostenolone (Dianabol) powder and EQ). Eating rice with red yeast can help maintain cholesterol and BP. It is definitely something that needs to be monitored. And this is definitely why you should eat CLEAN during the cycle - don't eat pizza, burgers and fries.

Other misconceptions.
Steroids take intramuscularly - not intravenously. There is no band around the arm or anything else. If you should inject into a vein or nerve end, you may die. There are specific injection sites - the most secure are belts, quads, glutes and the ventro-gluteal site. People often think that butt / buttocks is the safest site, I would disagree because it is hard to reach and because the sciatic nerve runs very close to that area and if you hit it, good luck with the rest of your life.
Steroids are and are not a wonderful medicine. You can sit on a couch and eat potato chips and you may become older, but if you do that when you take them, you should never mind wasting your money. You still have to do the job. You still have to eat clean - I'd say even cleaner. You still have to keep an eye on everything.
Pro-hormones are not a safe alternative to steroids because you can buy them from GNC / Complete Nutrition / Wherever. These are MORE dangerous and you often cannot buy real PCT drugs there and then you are on a really tough road to recovery if you recover at all.
