About Steroids

1.What is Proviron?
Proviron is one of the oldest androgenic anabolic steroids in the store. Officially known as Mesterolon, it has appeared under many brand names over the years, but the Proviron name has remained dominant. It also remained one of the most misunderstood anabolic steroid powders among steroid users.
In many ways, Proviron is the only anabolic steroid. It shares some strong similarities to Masteron (Drostanolone) and to some extent Anavar (Oxandrolon) and Winstrol (Stanozolol), but it is all its unique animal. In a performance capacity, Proviron is not used to promote the accumulation of large quantities in the mass, although it may serve an important purpose during such a training phase. However, we will find Proviron to be much more common in cutting cycles, but again its purpose will be somewhat unique.
2. How does Proviron work?
Mesterolone is an anabolic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Specifically, it is a structurally modified DHT hormone that possesses the addition of a methyl group to the carbon 1 position. This allows the hormone to survive oral ingestion, protecting it from liver defects. This is one of the only oral anabolic steroid powders that is not C17-alpha alkylated (C17-aa), but instead bears the added methyl group. Oral Primobolan is the best known oral steroid that carries the same methyl group. While the added methyl group effectively protects it from decomposition, the total bioavailability of Proviron will be much lower than most C17-oral oral steroids. For this reason, it has fallen in popularity among athletes who have increased performance, but, as we will see, probably unauthorized.
Proviron has an androgenic rating of 30-40 and an anabolic rating of 100-150. All ratings come from and are measured against testosterone, which has a rating of 100 in both categories. Despite having an anabolic rating that is potentially higher than testosterone, Proviron will display very low anabolic traits. This is very similar to Halotestin (Fluoxymesterone), which has a massive anabolic rating, but very little translatable anabolic activity. In the case of Proviron, while highly structurally anabolic, the hormone mesterolone is transformed and reduced to Diol metabolites, in turn reducing anabolic activity. However, the androgenetic evaluation of Proviron is a different story. In fact, its translational androgen activity appears to be generally higher than its structural rating would mean.
On a functional basis, Proviron carries four main features that largely define its mode of action. First, the hormone mesterolon has a strong affinity for binding to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). In fact, it seems to be one of the most potent anabolic steroids in this regard. By binding to SHBG, a hormone partially responsible for reducing free testosterone, binding SHBG will increase the amount of free testosterone in circulation. More important to the anabolic steroid user, this will make a higher percentage of the anabolic steroid powder purchased, available in a free, rather than bound state. An easy way to look at this is the anabolic steroid you take becoming stronger and stronger.
Proviron also has the ability to interact with the aromatase enzyme, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen. By binding to the aromatase enzyme, Proviron can inhibit the activity of aromatase, thus providing protection against estrogenic side effects. It will not have an anti-estrogen effect near the power level of an aromatase inhibitor (AI), but it will be noticeable. Depending on the nature of the cycle, the individual agrees that Proviron is very likely to handle all your anti-estrogen needs.
The hormone mesterolone will also have a strong affinity for androgen receptor binding. Again this will promote the functionality of other steroids to a certain degree, but more importantly, it will promote improved metabolic activity through direct lipolysis. Then I was left with the final issue surrounding Proviron as a fertility drug. This is an anabolic steroid that does not suppress gonadotropins in the same way as other anabolic steroids. With minimal suppression and extremely strong androgenity, this will increase sperm production because androgens are required for stimulation of spermatogenesis. This not only improves the amount of sperm produced, but, as important and equally important, it increases the quality of the sperm. Before going any further you understand that Proviron has the ability to suppress gonadotropins, but there is a line that must be crossed for notable suppression to interfere with sperm production. This will make sense once we throw in the side effects section.
3. The effects of Proviron
During a bulky phase, Proviron will not be a fundamental steroid, and for most men it will not have a place in an off-season cycle. There are exceptions and we will go over those here. Adding it to Proviron could help individual progress at a sticking point during its cycle. At one point, in all cycles, progress starts to slow down and in some cases stops completely. By the way Proviron improves the total free state of the other steroids that are used in a stack, it could possibly help the individual discovering this sticking point. Out of season, in this case most will use the highest amount of testosterone. Many will use large amounts during cutting cycles, especially competitive cultivars, but lower levels of testosterone are more common during the cutting phase. However, there are, for many reasons, choosing to run off-season cycles with limited doses of testosterone. In such plans, including Proviron could give them a slightly forced androgen impulse. While it may not always be necessary, it may prove beneficial.
Undoubtedly, the best time to use Proviron will be during the cutting phase. This steroid has the ability to provide a healing effect similar to that of Masteron, but more importantly, the healing effects of other steroids will be enhanced. Then, we consider the strong connection with the androgen receptor, which will, in fact, allow the individual to burn body fat at a much more efficient rate. From here we need to consider the anti-estrogen effect of Proviron. This will ensure that the individual is less prone to water retention and, as discussed, depending on the total cycle, could negate the need for a traditional anti-estrogen. Then again, I was left with the growth of free circulating testosterone again. This can be a tremendous benefit when testosterone levels are often much lower in this phase than using anabolic steroids. In fact, with a low dose cycle of testosterone that includes other anabolic steroids, we can confidently say that the overall results will be higher for people who include Proviron compared to those who don't. Finally, the primary basic benefit is the increased androgenicity of other steroids used to promote a much more difficult and more defined physique. It should be noted that while Proviron can certainly provide these features, they will not be visible unless you are weak.
4. Proviron Cycles and uses
The fact that Proviron is not an anabolic steroid and has extremely weak anabolic effects, is not used in the form of cycles. Instead, it is normally used as an auxiliary compound, as an adjunct to anabolic steroid cycles to minimize or mitigate the effects of estrogen on the body. It is also used for its aesthetic effects in improving the "hard" appearance of the physique, both through its effects as an anti-estrogen and through its effects as a strong androgen.
When used as an auxiliary, it can be taken by male athletes and bodybuilders throughout their cycle length at 50 - 100mg per day because there is no limit to how long it can be used for. Some people also prefer to use Proviron as a Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) to reduce estrogen levels and increase fertility. Although this can be done, there are much better compounds with similar (and stronger) effects for PCT. When the risk of suppression of endogenous testosterone, even if low, is mixed with Proviron, it is recommended to avoid using Proviron for PCT purposes, unless other options are available. During a period when individuals are trying to recover their natural endogenous testosterone levels, any threat, no matter how small an endogenous testosterone production, should be unwanted and avoided at any cost.
5. Proviron Dosing and Administration
Proviron standard doses to treat androgen or male fertility will normally decrease in the range of 50-75mg per day. Normally, the total dosage is divided into 2-3 doses 25mg per day. In androgen deficiency plans, the total dosage almost always starts at 75mg per day and is slightly reduced to 25-50mg per day, depending on the patient's needs.
In a performance capacity, the doses of Proviron normally range from 50-150mg per day. Most men, however, will find 100mg a day to be the minimum beneficial dose, both 100mg and 150mg being very effective. Total use will normally last between 8-12 weeks. However, in an effort to discover a sticking point in a cycle, say at the end of a cycle, a 6 week Proviron course can do the trick.
In the medical world, for the treatment of androgen insufficiency, a single 25mg tablet is used three times daily (for a total of 75mg per day) at the beginning of treatment, followed by a dose reduction later to single maintenance levels. 25mg tablet daily. In the treatment of male infertility, the same doses are normally used, although other fertility enhancing drugs are also included with Proviron.
For athletes, Proviron is normally used between 50 - 150mg per day to control estrogen levels, reduce water retention (caused by estrogen), or increase fertility after the end of a cycle.
Although Proviron is not approved for use in females, some women in athletics and bodybuilding choose to use it. In this case, a single dose of ProVio 25mg per day is sufficient to change the physical appearance. This should not be done more than 4 - 5 weeks to avoid virilization effects.
6.Proviron Side effects
Because Proviron is a DHT derivative, it does not carry any dosage risks for estrogen side effects. In fact, as mentioned above, Proviron acts as an anti-estrogen through its activity as an aromatase inhibitor in the body. This may reduce the estrogenic side effects of other compounds by reducing total circulating estrogen plasma concentrations. Research has shown that due to this effect of Proviron, it has been used medically in the treatment of gynecomastia and breast cancers due to its strong androgenic nature combined with its anti-estrogenic capabilities.
Because Proviron is primarily an androgen, it carries the risk of androgenic side effects, and they are more pronounced with higher doses. The androgenic side effects of Proviron include: an increase in oily skin (due to increased sebum production / secretion), increased facial hair and body hair growth, as well as increased risk of triggering Male Baldness Pattern (MPB) genetically sensitive or predisposed to it. Women are also prone to virilization by using Proviron, which is the development of male characteristics in women (ie, deepening of the voice, facial hair growth, clitoral enlargement, etc.). It is also important to note that since Proviron is already a derivative of DHT, products such as Finasteride, Proscar or Dutasteride will do absolutely nothing to reduce the potential androgenic side effects of Proviron.
Because Proviron is not C-17 alkylated (instead of being methylated at its first carbon), research has shown that hepatotoxic effects are unknown, and liver problems are extremely unlikely for this compound.
The side effects of Proviron do indeed include a negative impact on the cardiovascular system. Studies have shown that 100mg daily ProVORI for the 6 months showed very important negative effects on cholesterol values, both cholesterol increase (LDL) and cholesterol lowering (HDL) cholesterol by 65% and 35% respectively.
Proviron may also have a suppressive effect on the endogenous production of natural testosterone (although this is considered to be very weak). However, studies have shown that 150mg or less daily of Proviron does not result in significant testosterone suppression. In the same studies, higher doses (300 mg or higher per day) led to significant suppression of testosterone levels.
